This seems so true. I do run into teachers that are fearful of unprofessionally moderated content such as Wikipedia. But I argue you can effectively use different sources of information. A friend of mine who works at Microsoft quoted the following: "The Genius of the And versus the Tyranny of the Or"

So why can't we have both and discover the place for all kinds of information resources. If we teach students to filter better and to be critical of the information they see, then all this information can be synthesized better and applied more effectively.
